Judge Jamison is currently a judge on the Ohio Court of Appeals, Tenth Appellate District seated in Columbus, Ohio. With her prior service on the Franklin County Division of Domestic Relations-Juvenile Branch, she has more than 11 years of experience.
As a single parent - nontraditional student, she went to Franklin University, graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration, cum laude, and Capital University Law School, graduating with a Juris Doctor. Her work history began in the West Virginia Department of Welfare as a day care provider trainer, eligibility worker and fraud investigator; but includes being a former coal miner and member of United Mine Workers of America; a small business owner for more than 16 years; private practitioner who stood beside families in crisis, not corporations or special interest groups; and, hearing officer for the State of Ohio UCRC where she paid fair share in OCSEA.
She's a community leader who received a Doctorate in Community Leadership, hon. causa.; a member of numerous community and legal organizations, on the Franklin University Advisory Board for Global Healthcare Education, Capital University Law School Board of Counselors, a Blood Ambassador for Red Cross; and, she's giving back through the Judge Terri Jamison Scholarship for Single Parents and recognizing Hidden Figures within our community who work diligently to create opportunities for others.

Judge Terri Jamison is a Judge on the Ohio Court of Appeals, Tenth District who works hard to ensure accountability so that all Ohioans are equally protected under the law. Jamison grew up in a small town and was a union coal miner until working her way through law school and starting her own small business.
She practiced criminal law, worked with children and families, and has served as a judge for the last decade. Terri Jamison knows what it’s like to work toward a goal, she will make sure the law works just as hard for all Ohioans, not just special interests.
