Jamison Honored at Events by AJP
Judge Terri Jamison of the Court of Appeals, Tenth District will be honored this Friday as a community hero. She has given countless hours of service to the community of Franklin County and the State of Ohio. She is well known as a panelist, keynote speaker, educator and public servant. She is recognized for her service on the Franklin County Advisory Committee for Global Healthcare Education and the Board of Counselors for Capital University Law School. Her impact has been felt nationally in the documentary "Pushout:Criminilization of Black Girls in School" highlighting discipline disparities among African-American girls.
Jamison said, "I'm humbled to receive an award for something that I do because I love serving." She values the words of Shirley Chisolm "Service is the Rent You Pay for Room on This Earth."
