Jamison Joins Franklin University Board
Judge Terri Jamison was pegged to join the Franklin University Advisory Board for the Global Center for Healthcare Education. She was tapped for her prior experience as a Life and Health Insurance Agent for more than 16 years. Jamison brings to the Advisory Board a unique perspective on the cost of health insurance and benefits analysis. She joins a group of educators and researchers who will focus their extensive expertise in providing relevant degree programs that meet the needs of students, organizations and communities, but also responds to the ever-increasing demand for qualified healthcare professionals around the world. She joins at the critical time when the U. S. is facing the COVID-19 pandemic. "Sitting on the Advisory Board give me insight to precautions I can take as a judge with our staff and public safety in the courthouse" Jamison said. Who knew that the opportunity would be given at such a critical time but, she has been a voice advocating for reducing community healthcare disparities. She's been an avid supporter of the African American Wellness Walk and volunteer of the Red Cross community blood drives. This is another avenue that Judge Jamison can continue to be involved in her community.
